11th live performance project of LIVE Au Praxinoscope.
“LISTENING” is a live performance by Sascia Pellegrini / Mayako Okura / Yuri Yamamura, A trio of sound, butoh, and juggling. The live is in a small studio with a small courtyard of Au Praxinoscope . Au Praxinoscope means “in the action viewer”. The live focuses on “LISTENING” which is the fundamental philosophy common to all three parties' exploration of performance.

Sascia Pellegrini = サーシャ・ペレグリーニ
Sascia’s specialty fields of expertise are media theory, phenomenology, and art practice. His main backgrounds are composition and dance choreography. His thesis and articles have been presented and published in symposiums and magazines in the US, UK, Lithuania, Slovenia, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, South Africa, and Japan. He is also a board member of Film International Journal (UK), SAGE (Music Psychology, UK), etc. As a performer, he is active in classical percussion and piano, and has presented his works as an artist in Italy, France, Germany, China, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong, and collaborated with City Contemporary Dance Company (Hong Kong) and others.

Mayako Okura = 大倉摩矢子
Studied under dancer Masahide Omori and is active as a solo artist. Pursuing dance that fuses the body and consciousness. In recent years, he has been active both domestically and internationally, including unit activities and hosting and managing international butoh exchange projects.
Yuri Yamamura = 山村佑理
A juggler, graduated from Centre des arts du cirque LIDO in Toulouse France. Exploring the expression of juggling based on “listening to the existence of objects”. Produces performances, music, videos, and workshops. He hosts small circuses such as BAZAR and APINUN, and attempts to create “new juggling” with various co-creators.
