Exhibition of Original Drawings and Prints of "Dozens of Norths" and Three Shorts

Original drawings and prints of four animated films, In the Big Yard Inside the Teeny-Weeny Pocket, A Bite of Bone, Polar Bear Bears Boredom and Dozens of Norths are exhibited and sold.

In commemoration of the 3-day limited theatrical release of "Dozens of Norths" and Three Shorts at Shin-Bungei-Za, Ikebukuro, January 27-29, we will exhibit and sell original animation drawings and Ziegler prints of Yano Honami 's "A Bite of Bone", Yuki Yoko's "In the Big Yard Inside the Teeny-Weeny Pocket", Koji Yamamura's "Polar Bear Bears Boredom" and "Dozens of Norths". The exhibition will also include the sale of Gigley prints.

Yamamura Koji directed "Dozens of Norths" has already won 8 national and international awards, including the Crystal (top prize) in the feature film contretemps section at the 61st Annecy International Animated Film Festival in May 2022, and the Grand Prix in the feature film section at the 46th Ottawa International Animated Film Festival this past September.
In addition to "Dozens of Norths," Yamamura directed "Polar Bear Bears Boredom" (2021 / 7 min.), in which cute ink-painted animals move comically to the accompaniment of songs; "A Bite of Bone" (directed by Yano Honami / 2021 / 10 min.), an Au Ppraxinoscope production Yamamura produced with young artists; and "In the Big Yard Inside the Teeny-Weeny Pocket" (directed by Yuki Yoko / 2022 / 7 min.), 3 new short films produced by Yamamura and produced by young filmmakers. These three short films have already won numerous awards at film festivals in Japan and abroad, bringing the total number of awards received by all four films to 50. This screening is a showcase of Koji Yamamura's current works as well as of the new talent that has grown up under his direction.
